Ugandan diplomat and businessman Chris Rugari breaks his silence after the tragic d3ath of his two-year-old son Nganwa Rugari, how he makes two of his three older children a painful discovery that is not biologically his pain.
Lib report POris arrests his estranged wife, Joline Kanoheri During a few hours in Nganwa, he was able to undergo scheduled DNA tests to establish his parent-child relationship in a divorce case between the couple.
After that, the results of the paternity test confirmed that Rugary was the biological father of the late 2-year-old child.
Kanoheri was arrested after a suspicious incident last week, reporting that her child accidentally dropped from the first floor of the house onto the grounds of Mutungo in Kampala’s Nakagawa subdivision.
However, after examining the child’s body, authorities did not find any physical harm consistent with the fall.
This difference raised the red flag and led to police opening an M8rder case against her.
Mr. Rugari, Consul of Uganda in Zimbabwe, in a letter to the media on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 Reports of confirmed DNA disputes show that tests show that two of his three older children are not his biological offspring, which he said was the root of family misunderstandings, and he only learned in late 2023 that it was his biological offspring.
He also vowed to reveal the truth behind his son’s “cruel and cruel D3ath”.
Mr. Rugari was dismissed by the fabricated man, whose estranged wife and her sympathizers radiated the accounts, and he asked her to “removal of the uterus after their first son was born, and when his wife refused, Chris Rugari allowed her to be with other men and other men, who only wanted one child.
Mr. Rugary strongly refuted such a narrative, insisting that the person behind it needs a sober test.
“I avoid commenting on these matters, which are already under police investigation, especially when mourning the cruel and cruel death of my beloved son in unclear circumstances,” the statement said.
“However, I have seen some misleading information in online media saying that I forced my ex-wife to have a hysterectomy after our first birth, and it was me who gave her permission to allow her to cheat and have children outside. The false information continues to show that between 2011 and 2017, we were separated.
“It’s not only shocking, but also impressive. Whoever thinks that narrative needs sober testing because it lacks any logical basis.
In a briefing with the media, he shared a side of the story. He said
I married Kanoheri Jolin in 2008. Our first child was born in 2010, followed by the second child in 2013, the third child in 2015, our fourth time in 2022, and the last time in 2024.
We like what I describe is a beautiful and conflict-free relationship. Our first three children were born at Cololo Hospital and I signed their birth certificate as biological father. I took them to immunize, bathed, cooked them, and dressed them. I financially supported their father at Kisffer Kindergarten in Bugolobi, then Gemz Cambridge Butabika, and later through online education in Lusaka Zambia during the Gemz Cambridge closure during the Covid period.
Later, I moved all my children to Türkiye to engage in professional education in basketball, football, art and drama. I have a huge connection with everyone. Our fourth child (recently passed away) was born in a Saudi hospital in Germany and I signed his birth certificate as a father again. Our last child was born after a parent-child relationship problem that had already started a romantic relationship during pregnancy and I was unable to sign a birth certificate.
I have always been grateful for what I think is a decent, loyal and loving wife and I am very proud of our family. If I had died before and went to heaven, the first thing I would have told God is to say thank you for giving me a great wife.
But when I was painfully aware that two of our three older kids weren’t biological, things changed. This is the conflict I started with Jolin. So, she and her team are working overtime to sell to the public misleading angle, in order to get the public from discussing a confusing issue, which surprised the medical community how a 2-year-old fell off the first floor of the house and left herself in a difficult situation, but without any external or internal injury in any external or internal injury, you will suffer any in a difficult situation and you have been in a position where you can.
Therefore, I urge the public not to mislead and fabricated publicity due to false information, aiming to divert attention from the causes of the death of children. The only thing I care about right now is to reveal the truth behind this tragedy.
Press, I ask you to give me time to mourn because I have experienced a lot. In 2023, I have a happy family with 4 children and a lovely wife.
Today, my wife was jailed for alleged murder of her own baby, and DNA has ruled out that I was a father of two, one of my children died in a biology, so it was not easy. I hope you understand.
Thank you everyone, I wish you God’s blessing.
Meanwhile, Nakagawa’s first-level chief magistrate Frank Namanya returned Jolin Kenoheri Rugari to prison until May 6, 2025, on murder.
She was accused of assisting Kanoheri with her house maid Robinah Nabanja.
The two were taken to the Chief District Court of Nakagawa on Friday, April 11 to mention the allegations against them.
During the court, Kanoheri said she did murder her child, adding that she had been the child’s parent.
“The police changed the statement, they lied a lot, they said a lot, but you have to know you, I am innocent. Even God knows I am innocent, I can’t murder my children.”
She added: “They (children) have been there since day one. I have always been my child’s mother and I can’t murder my child. You have to know the truth about my innocentness.”
However, Chief Magistrate Justice Namanya did not allow her and her co-defendant to plead guilty, saying that the Chief District Court of Nakagawa has no jurisdiction to hear capital offenses.
Namanya told the defendant that only the High Court could hear his case.
