Hollywood actor Val Kilmer is dead, his daughter Mercedes Kilmer confirmed Tuesday night.
The actor died Tuesday in Los Angeles, 65, in Los Angeles, according to the New York Times.
Kilmer entered the entertainment industry with “Top Gun”, and he also portrayed Jim Morrison in “The Doors”, Doc Holliday in “Tombstone” and Batman in Forever.
Kilmer also played a major role in the 1995 Heat, 1997, Willow, 1988, and more recently Top Gun, Maverick.
He was one of the largest Hollywood actors of the 1990s and then got stuck with directors and co-stars and a series of failed people.
Over the years, Kilmer has had a reputation of temperament, strength, perfectionism and sometimes conceitedness.
According to Mr. Kilmer’s daughter, the actor was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2014 but later recovered.
