The personality and influencer of Nigerian social media, Martins Vincent Otse, known as very Wakman (VDM), has been arrested in Abuja by Nigerian police.
His attorney, Deji Adeyanju, arrested the arrest on his X account on Friday, May 2.
The arrest was conducted at a Nigerian bank in Abuja.
Adeyanju wrote. “Just: VDM was arrested by police at GTB. He talked to them before he was arrested. It was absolutely unacceptable. It was not a crime to ask for responsibility.”
He added in a follow-up message: “A group of police officers arrested VDM at GTB.
Police have not formally arrested.
Recall that in November 2024, the police detained VDM after they invited them.
