
NYESOM WIKE, Chief Minister of Territory of the Federal Capital (FCT), approved the revocation of the People’s Democratic Party’s new national secretariat (PDP) located in the Central Business District of Abuja.
A letter confirming the revoked letter was signed on behalf of the Minister by Chijoke Nwankwoeze, Director of the Land Administration. It is dated on March 13, 2025 and is publicly released to the President of the PDP in Abuja on Tuesday, March 18.
Letter with reference number: MISC 81346 Title: Notice of Revocation of Occupy Rights, for the Plot No. 243 in the Central Area of Abuja City (A00) Area (A00) Area, partially read:

“To further inform you that the subject property (Place No. 243 Central Area, A00, Abuja) has been restored to the Federal Capital Territory and will be immediately occupied by the Government.”
The multi-level secretariat building is not yet completed for 20 years and is located in the main location in the city center. Work was initially estimated to cost 16 billion guilds in 2008. Work began.
The party has not responded to this development.
