

Working hard is the winner of the 2024/2025 NPFL championship, Remo Stars received a cash prize from Victor Osimhen.
Super Hawks forward Victor Osimhen generously presented Remo Stars₦₦Remo 10 million after winning the 2024/25 Nigerian Prime Minister Football League (NPFL) title. The donation is divided into two equal parts, allocated to players 5 million and another 5 million technicians.
The sky blue stars secured their first NPFL title by defeating the Niger Tornado 1-0 at the Remo Star Stadium in Ikenna. After 35 games, this crucial win increased their points to 68, including 21 wins, 5 draws and 9 losses.
Under coach Daniel Ogunmodede, the group led 10 points in second place Rivers United, who accumulated 58 points in 16 wins, 10 draws and 9 losses.
The success of Remo stars is a historic moment as they are the first team in the Southwest since Julius Berger won the feat in 1996.
