Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy opens his family’s assets, income, expenditure and financial obligations in 2024.
The President’s Office issued a declaration of Ukrainian leaders on Sunday, March 30 as part of the country’s anti-corruption campaign.
In 2024, Zelenskyy’s household income totaled 15,286,193 ($368,556), including HR 8,585,532 ($207,000) in sales of government bonds.
Income includes the president’s salary, bank interest and payments for private real estate leases, just above the $316,700 income in 2023.
The president’s office stated that the increase in earnings in 2024 is due to the restoration of full rent.
“There were no other significant changes in the assets, real estate or vehicles of the president’s family last year.”
The mandatory electronic assets declaration for Ukrainian public officials was proposed in 2014 to promote transparency and accountability.
The annual report was suspended in 2022 after the Russian invasion, but re-instated in October 2023 after Zelenskyy signed a law to restore the statement.
