“WAEC sincerely regrets the public that technical issues found in an internal review of the results of the school candidate West African Advanced School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), (SC) 2025.
“As part of our efforts to curb malfeasance in exams, the Council has begun innovations (paper serialization) that have been deployed by the national examination bodies.
“It is also worth noting that this conforms to best practices in the evaluation. The paper serialization is performed in mathematics, English, biology and economics. However, the internal post-result release program shows some technical errors in the results.
“The Council is a body that is sensitive to fair and professional-sensitive responses and therefore decided to urgently review and correct technical failures that resulted in the situation, and the results, visiting Wassce (SC) 2025 2025 Results has been temporarily denied the Results Checker Portal.
“We pay tribute to all affected candidates and the public.
“We thank them for their efforts and understanding to work hard to address this issue with transparency and urgency over the next twenty-four (24) hours.”
