The West African Examinations Commission (WAEC) has officially released the results of the 2025 Computer-based West African Advanced School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
The announcement came on Saturday through a post about WAEC X handle that said: “Results of Computer-based Private Candidate Exam in West Africa, 2025, the 2025th Series 1.”
However, some students are frustrated that they have no access to their results.

One student Ephrata attended X to share her experience, saying, “I checked the results, but it said my card had been used by another candidate. This was my first time using it and I was confused. I bought a scratch card and I bought the same problem. Please happen. Please, I need help to understand what the problem and the next step.”
WAEC releases WASSCE results for private candidates in 2024
The West Africa Examinations Commission (WAEC) has officially released the results of the 2024 Series 2 of Private Candidates.
According to a statement by AG’s head of public affairs, Moyosola Adesina, a total of 65,023 candidates took the exam, of which 43,923 candidates (67.55%) had scored credit and at least five of them above.
