According to a gathering, students with a senior national diploma mass communication major at Delta State Polytechnic were kidnapped when the gunman failed to secure a male target with her.
The incident occurred along the Polytechnic Institute on Wednesday night, February 5, 2025.
Community sources, who long for anonymity for safety reasons, told Punch that the gunman blocked the undistinguished shooting of the vehicle and then kidnapped the student after he managed to escape.
“When about five men blocked his vehicle and started shooting, the man drove along the science and engineering road. The man managed to open the door and run into the bush,” the source said.
