On the 45th birthday of the junior high school pope, his wife Jennifer Awele poured out her heart in a deep emotional Instagram post, remembering her late husband.
Shared a moving video of playing happily with the kids, Jennifer wrote: “This is May 7, 2025 and I am not celebrating you with different birthday surprises…but your heart is still beating just as the rhythm of your heart.”
She recalls fond memories since 2010 when he first told her that her birthday was “the last day of the first week of May.” Today, this day is heavy with sorrow and desire.
When returning from filming, the young pope died tragically on April 10, 2024. His death shocked the Nollywood industry.
“Happy 45th birthday of our dad in heaven,” her tribute ended. “Continue to look at us, Debonair.”
