The son of Mohammed’s former vice president Atiku Abubakar claimed that Bauchi Governor Bala Mohammed is secretly contacting President Bora Tinub’s government.
Naija News Mohammed reportedly knew this in response to the son of Bauchi State Governor Shamsu Bala, who said his father never supported Atiku’s ambitions in the 2019 and 2023 presidential elections.
Shamsu Bala also threatens his father won’t support Atiku in the 2027 election.
However, in a statement to journalists in Abuja on Monday, Mohammed atiku-Abubakar said his father never enjoyed the support of Shamsu’s father in a bid to run for president, and stressed that “The only difference now is that Shamsu removed the mask, and now we don’t have to worry about any of his father’s supportive faux impressions.”
Mohammed said Shamsu Bala’s comments were related to the arrogance and exaggeration, adding that his father’s presidential ambitions were the reason for his poor management of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Governor’s Forum.
The statement added “Let Shamsu know that Atiku never blows an ounce of energy into his father’s political misery. It’s just because Atiku’s politics transcends such a prank, he’s been above the bar. Also, Bala Muhammed hasn’t been in the 2023 campaign with Bauchi’s politicians. It’s purely local.
“Let me reiterate that Shamsu’s father never supported Atiku Abubakar’s political career.
“Instead, the ignorant role his father played in 2023 where he secretly worked with the party’s presidential candidate remains a memory of Nigerians.
“If Shamsu has been off the news reel, we hope to recommend him to his father’s political mentor, FCT Minister Nysom Wike, who revealed how the Bauchi state governor planned the plan to ensure that Atiku did not win the 2023 election.
“It is worth noting that Governor Bala Mohammed’s presidential ambitions are the reason for his poor management of the PDP Governor Forum, where he could not command respect and control of his colleagues. We are also not aware of his secret with the Tinubu government Hobnob.
“Let me conclude that tell my brother Shamsu that the focus of every patriot Nigerian should be on promoting our dear country Nigeria rather than unnecessary violent political discourse.”
