#EndSars: “Three years have passed and we will never forget” – Mr Macaroni takes peaceful walk at Lekki toll gate

Nigerian actor and activist Debo Adebayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni, has once again paid tribute to the victims of the Lekki tollgate shooting as Nigeria marks the fifth anniversary of the #EndSARS tragedy.

In a post shared on his Instagram page, the comedian reflected on the pain and sacrifice of young Nigerians who have lost their lives, jobs, families and dreams in the fight against police brutality.

    He wrote:

“Young Nigerians have lost their lives, jobs, families and dreams at the hands of the most corrupt and evil people we call leaders! Although some of us deeply love our oppressors, October 20, 2020 is a day that will never be forgotten or forgiven!”

Accompanied by a powerful photo from the 2020 protests and Fela Kuti’s song “Unknown Soldier,” his post reignited memories of nationwide demonstrations calling for an end to police brutality and bad governance.

In other news… Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has reportedly moved out of the residence of her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, following allegations of domestic violence.

The development comes after a video went viral in which the actress was seen tearfully lamenting the state of her marriage. In the video, Regina can be heard saying:

“I am nothing in Ned Nwoko’s house, but in my house I am the queen. I cannot stand the violence, it is too much.”

According to filmmaker Stanley Antrop, who shared the video, thugs allegedly sent by lawmakers attacked the actress, but her brother stepped in to protect her.

Sources close to the actress claim that she has left her matrimonial home and is staying with her family for safety reasons.

As of the time of this report, neither Regina Daniels nor Senator Ned Nwoko have publicly responded to the allegations. The incident continues to spark widespread concern and debate on social media, with fans urging authorities to investigate and ensure Regina’s well-being.
