Wendy Williams was taken away from New York’s assisted living facilities by ambulance on Monday, March 10, when police were asked to undergo a health check when the current show host begged for help outside the window with handwritten notes.
“Help! Wendy!!” said the instructions.
Police sources told The Post that the 60-year-old (diagnosed with dementia) threw a note on the window of her fifth-floor room.
The former TV star was entangled in the memory ward of the facility while trying to end custody of a court order and later found her arm in a window, waving her arms to reporters while speaking on the phone.
Not long after, Williams walked out of the facility silently and accompanied by a few policemen, and was sent into a waiting ambulance.

The ordeal comes as the daytime star is scheduled to return to TV for the first time amid her ongoing health dilemma.
Williams plans to make a appearance on ABC’s “View” on Friday, March 14, her first appearance since she left her “Wendy Williams Show” four years ago.

Suzanne Bass, former co-executive producer of Williams’ show, shared news of an upcoming appearance in Sunday’s Instagram post.
“Prepare for a very special friend because of her appearance @theviewabc aired this Friday. #freewendy.

Williams, diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia, was caught in a high-profile battle to end her custody since 2022.
Her guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, had previously said that Williams had “cognitive impaired, permanently disabled and powerless” from the battle for dementia.
Williams insists that she is spiritually justified, claiming in a recent TMZ phone interview that she was held in “prison” and that she was “not allowed” to exceed her own free will with her own free will.
