
Motorists and residents cheated for safety after the gasoline tanker fell and caught fire at the end of the Sulphur Road/ojoo on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in the Aduroju area.
According to the gathering, the affected truck fell down Thursday, February 13, 2025, trying to manipulate its own way and dodge another truck on the pothole highway.
Nearby people and road users remind the state fire department to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby homes.
Revd, General Manager of National Fire Services. Akinyemi Akinyinka confirmed the incident to the Neigerian Tribune that an oil tanker caught fire but could not determine the level of casualties.
“Our men are now at the scene of the incident. They are managing the results. They are assisting them by staff at the Bovas filling station,” he said.
