When NBA players stole $770,000 worth of jewelry and swallowed it during arrest (Video)

A suspected thief swallowed two pairs of diamond earrings while being arrested on the side of the Panhandel Expressway in Florida, which left the detectives tasked with waiting to “collect” Tiffany’s jewelry worth nearly $770,000.

X-rays of the suspect’s torso show what the Orlando Police Department believes is a diamond earring – a massive white glowing against the gray background of his digestive tract.

“These foreign objects are suspected to be robbed Tiffany & Co earrings, but need to be collected after passing,” the department’s arrest report said.

The handwriting of the commitment document filed on Monday, March 3 said that “external medical” means he is in a medical facility.

The 32-year-old from Texas was accused of forcibly stealing earrings from the Orlando Mall on Wednesday, February 26.

During the theft, the man allegedly told Tiffany sales partners that he was interested in purchasing diamond earrings and diamond rings on behalf of Orlando Magic basketball players.

Sales staff escorted the man to the VIP room where he could see the jewelry. Soon after, he jumped out of the chair, grabbed the jewelry, and tried to force himself out of the door.

One of the sales staff was injured and tried to stop him, but managed to pound the diamond ring, worth $587,000.

Detectives obtained the license plate of the suspect’s car through security footage from the mall and believed he was driving back to Texas.

Orlando police report said state police tracked the car from tag readers on Florida Turnpike and Interstate 10 until he was driven without a rear light in Washington County, nearly 550 kilometers.

When he was detained, he swallowed several earrings from the soldiers.

The suspect was charged with first-degree felony theft and robbery as a third-degree felony.

He did not provide him with an attorney and was listed as police custody in Orange County, Florida, as of Wednesday morning, March 6, court records show.
