Rapper Jeezy is seeking new management after losing trust in his long-term team and now he has taken legal action against them.
Jeezy has filed a lawsuit against his long-time manager Solomon Fornie and business partner Eddie Bridgeman, accusing them of having succeeded without their knowledge, according to court documents obtained by TMZ Hip Hop.
Jeezy and Fornie have established professional relationships for more than a decade before co-founding the No. 99 agency to manage rappers’ income. Bridgeman’s company, Saisai Group, was later brought to oversee the financial issues of 99 agents. However, Jeezy claims he later discovered that Bridgeman was not a licensed CPA.
In the second half of 2024, Jeezy decided to connect with Fornie and Bridgeman, but claimed they were blocking his attempt to obtain financial records. Without these documents, he said he would be unable to comply with Georgia law to restore or dissolve the agency 99.
Jeezy has now brought the matter to court to demand that they hand over all financial records and seek damage. Fornie, Bridgeman or their representatives did not respond to the allegations.
