A 68-year-old man, Elisha Baba, had already fallen and d while working on his farm in the Gbamfa community of the Federal Capital Regional Couye Regional Commission (FCT) on Sunday!
Kaura Danlami, a relative of the deceased, told Daily Trust that the incident occurred around 2:33 pm on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, when the deceased worked on his farm.
He said the man and his two children cleaned the farm before the rainy season and he fell while working.
Relatives added that one of the deceased’s children rushed home to report the incident, and the family mobilized to the farm and took him to the hospital, and the doctor confirmed that he was dead.
“I was with him that Tuesday morning and he told me he was going to go to the farm to clean up the grass before ploughing in the wet season,” he said.
“It was around 2:33 pm, and it was reported that Dad had a D on Sunday! ed. ”
Danlami said the deceased was hale and habre messed up with no complications, and then he left the farm with his two children.
He said the body of the deceased was buried in the community Tuesday night.
