The body of Dr. Oluwafemi Rotifa, a 28-year-old resident at River State University Teaching Hospital (RSUTH), reportedly died after an extension of 72 hours without rest and has been rested.
He was buried in Port Harcourt Cemetery on Friday, September 5, 2025.
Rotifa, former president of the Medical Students Association of Port Harcourt University (PUMSA), has received extensive mourning for his grief and anger in the health department in Nigeria. The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) announced plans to conduct an autopsy to confirm the cause of death.
