The suspect broke his silence in a video that was believed to have been recorded at a police station in Kwara State where he admitted to dismembering her body and disposing it in a trash bin.
Bello describes the deceased as his girlfriend, who he reveals that they met on Facebook. He said in Yoruba as he knelt on the video that he explained what was happening around the tragic event. He claimed that he was just a victim of the situation and did not intentionally kill the law.
According to Bello, the incident happened after attending the event when Lawal visited his residence in the Ilorin Olunlade area.
