Wick provides support for Okowa and Oborevwori in support of President Tinubu.

Nigeria News Nalin It is reported that the Federal Capital Territory Minister NYESOM WIKE praised the former governor of the Triangle State and the 2023 PDP vice presidential candidate Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa publicly acknowledged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a statement released Wednesday through his senior special assistant on public communications and social media, Wike described Okova’s support as “a strong recognition of the president’s good governance of the country’s development and commitment to the country’s development.”

The FCT minister said Okowa’s move was not only timely but also consistent with Nigeria’s vision – he said he directed his political decisions during the last election.

“I commend Dr. Okova and Governor Oberevwori for this heart-warming decision. This demonstrates recognition of President Tinub’s development and leadership,” Vick said.

He urged other Nigerians to remain uncertain about the imitation of the Tinubu government and stressed that early support in regions such as the Niger Delta will help them benefit more from the ongoing federal programs.

Wick also seized the moment, reaching a parallel moment between Okowa’s current position and his own, saying: “What I saw before the 2023 election, others are now seeing and joining the new Hope Train.”

The minister is former Rivers Governor, who has been a voice supporter of President Tinub since the 2023 election, often using national unity and development as his main motivation.

The recognition of Okowa, who ran with PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, is being seen by analysts as a major political development in the country’s post-election landscape.
