FCT Minister Nyesom Wike congratulated Edo State Governor Okpebholo on Monday for his Supreme Court victory, calling it a new mission.
In a statement from his assistant, Lere Olayinka, Wick described the ruling as the ultimate affirmation of people’s choices and urged Okpebholo to focus on providing good governance.
“This victory is for the people of Edo, elected Governor Okpebholo. It is a greater commitment to serve the people.
“I congratulate the Governor and urge him to continue to do his best to the uplift of Edo and its people,” he said.
Vick also urged Asuerime Ighodalo of the PDP and other opponents to continue to move forward from election and support for Governor Okpebholo.
“The final answer has now been provided to whom the gubernatorial election has been given, which is to all the opponents of the governor, to the collective interest of Edo State with him,” Vick said.
