A teacher was murdered on suspicion of extramarital affair.
It is said to be a yoga teacher, the man was buried in December 2024, but his body was found on Monday, March 24, after police arrested the defendant after a prolonged investigation.
Police said the defendant lives in Rohtak, Haryana, India and his tenant reportedly was having an affair with his wife, so he organized a lover who kidnapped his wife with his friends and then buried him in a 7-foot pit in a field where he buried him in a deep place.
According to police officials, Hardeep found Jagdeep lived with him in part of the house and taught yoga at Baba Mastnath University in Rohtak, who allegedly had a relationship with his wife. He paid some people to dig a 7-foot-deep pit in the village of Pantavas Charkhi Dadri – telling them it was for drilling – and paid the price for his time.
On December 24, Hardeep and some of his friends kidnapped Jagdeep (originally from the village of Mandothi in the Jhajjar area) and he was after get off work.
Jagdeep’s hands and legs were tied together and he was beaten when the group took him to the pit of Charkhi dadri.
Once there, Hardeep and his friends recorded Jagdeep’s mouth, preventing him from making any noise, threw him into the pit, filled it with mud, and buried him alive.
On January 3, 10 days after the murder, a complaint of missing persons was filed at the Shivaji Colonial Police Station. Police did not find any potential clients before visiting Jagdeep’s phone records a while ago and found enough evidence to detain Hardeep and one of his friends Dharampal.
After introducing them and being detained, police began interrogating the two men, who revealed details about the killings.
The body was recovered on Monday, March 24, three months after the murder.
“There are other defendants in this case that will be arrested soon. The autopsy has been conducted and we are awaiting reports,” said the Crime Investigation Agency department responsible for Kuldeep Singh.
