Rivers State’s sole administrator, Vice President Ibok Eck Ibas (RTD), has directed the new secretary of the state government (SSG), Professor Ibibia Lucky Worika, to achieve the campaign.

Naija News The directive was introduced after Ibas launched Worika in the Executive Meeting Hall of the Government Building on Wednesday night.

The administrator congratulated Worika, whose appointment stated that the choice was not only an administrative decision, but also a statement of intent.

Ibas accused SSG of bringing his extensive experience to achieve national governance and noted that Worika has unparalleled expertise in law, policy and international governance, which is in line with the mission of restoring the River State’s law, order, integrity, integrity and public trust.

Ibas also pointed to his debut address for the people of the river, stressing that his government will be committed to providing effective governance based on transparency, accountability and services.

He ordered the new SSG to meet office requirements and provide the best service as needed when working with civil servants.

He said “The future tasks are heavy for our new SSG, but there is no doubt that you will prove your courage with your history. River nations need your talent, perseverance and dedication that you are unwilling to give. Together, we will write a new chapter of progress for this great state.

“Professor Worika’s role is crucial to advance this vision, ensuring that every policy, every decision and every action is in line with the task of restoring law and order in this administration, stabilizing the political system and creating the necessary conditions for restoring democratic institutions and representatives.

“You don’t have time to settle down. You have to roll up your sleeves and work with the team.

“The civil servants we will work closely with are key stakeholders and we must work with them to ensure that the country continues to operate effectively during this administration.

“For the Permanent Secretary and Civil Service as a whole, I will seek your friendly cooperation and support again as we are currently working to achieve our goals.”
