
Young men at Gambi State University hijacked and plundered a trailer and transported cartons of food under the brand “Seyi Tinubu”.
These items (accounted for palliative drugs) will be distributed to locals in the rapidity of Ramadan.
However, the truck carrying palliatives was hijacked along Gombe-Bauchi Road along Old Bauchi Motor Park.
A viral video shows that the plundered boxes include food such as small bags of rice, pasta, sugar, salt and bottled cooking oil.
It was in the Bauchi State Governor’s son Shamsuddeen Bala Mohammed criticized Seyi’s initiative and accused him of carrying out sustainable mandatory programs in the West while delivering food in the northern part.
He wrote: “Please, when coming to Bauchi to attend #RHYE, authorize our young people to work, keke napep, Moneies to start business, training on ICT infrastructure and cryptocurrency trading, and more.
“Please, we, the young men of Bauchi, don’t need rice and food in nylon bags during Ramadan.
“Teaching our young people how to fish, not feed them for a day. They are not begging for eg.”
