Nigerian journalist Rueben Abati has accused former vice president of Atiku Abubakar, who has accused allegations of corruption against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
Naija News Atiku was reportedly unmoved by the plan in an interview with Nigerian journalist Adesuwa Giwa-Osagie, who said Akpabio is not only corrupt, but also has a history of abuse of women.
Reuben Abati, in his reaction to the statement, described Atiku’s statement as defamatory during the morning show on the TV show.
Abati said Akpabio could ask Atiku to prove the corruption allegations against him, but was not convicted in that regard.
