Zelensky said in a press conference that he could “exchange” the post of NATO member president, stressing his commitment to peace.
“if [it guarantees] Peace in Ukraine, if you really need me to resign, I am ready. I could swap it for NATO,” Zelensky said. He stressed that his approach to the Trump administration was “pragmatic”, adding: “There is no space for emotion here. ”

Zelensky’s comments come amid rising tensions with U.S. President Donald Trump, who recently accused Ukraine of starting a conflict.
Trump later admitted to the “Russian attack” but accused his predecessors, Joe Biden and Zelensky, of not stopping the fight as soon as possible. Zelensky’s response was accusing Trump of being in a “disinformation space”, prompting Trump to call Zelensky a “dictator.”
President Zelensky plans to release prisoners with military experience
Ukraine’s President Volodymr Zelensky said prisoners with military experience and willingness to fight with the Russians will be released.
Zelensky commented in his speech in Kiev, Ukraine, where the delegation of Ukraine and the representative of Russia held a peace negotiation meeting near the Belarusian border.
