Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Sunday, February 23 that if it means that it brings peace to his country, he is “prepared to” resignation from the leader, which shows that he can Swap it for a NAD membership.

Zelensky’s comments escalate with Donald Trump after the U.S. president accused Ukraine of starting a conflict. Trump later admitted to the “Russian attack” but accused his predecessors, Joe Biden and Zelensky, of not stopping the fight as soon as possible.

Ukrainian authorities said Sunday that on Saturday night, Russia launched a record 267 drones in Ukraine, killing at least one person, in an unprecedented attack.
“Every day, our people are resisting air strikes,” Zelensky said on Sunday, adding that the overnight attack was “the biggest attack since Iranian drones began hitting Ukrainian cities and villages.”
“We need to do our best to bring lasting and peace to Ukraine. In the unity of all partners, this is possible – we need the strength of the whole of Europe, the strength of the United States, the strength of everyone who wants lasting peace.” Zelensky said on X.
Zelensky also spoke about the draft agreement between the United States and Ukraine on rare earth minerals and other natural resources.
As part of a broader negotiation to end the Ukrainian war, the United States is trying to obtain Ukraine’s key minerals and other resources. In return, Ukraine has been seeking security assurances.
At a press conference, Zelensky told reporters that he hoped for a successful deal and that the United States would not freeze military support to Ukraine in the process of reaching the deal.
“We will sign this – the first agreement or memorandum, on which basis we will prepare other documents,” he said. “So I hope it won’t have an impact on other steps in the United States and will not cancel or Stop or freeze any support, especially military support for Ukraine. This is crucial to us.”
Asked if he thinks he can patch his relationship with Trump, Zelensky said the president should not lose his partnership between his countries.
“That’s why it’s important for me to get the support of the president and to get the support of the Senate, Congress, your two parties, but first of all, to support your people. I’m counting on it very much and I’m grateful that we have It.” He said.
