Emmanuel Mahamba, a 29-year-old Zimbabwean man, was tragically committed multiple crimes by Ford Ranger in Rivonia, Johannesburg. The incident happened around 4 p.m. Saturday, along 12th Avenue and shocked the local community.
Mahamba, originally from Zimbabwe, reportedly participated in a love triangle with a woman named Ntombizodwa and her former Ugandan partner (the father of her child). According to witnesses, the suspect angrily used his vehicle to repeatedly cross over Mahamba, causing him to be injured in the panoramic view of the bystanders.
Sources close to the participants said Mobamba and Ugandan suspects were linked to ntombizodwa. Although Mahamba is a married man with children, Ntombizodwa is said to have ended her extramarital affair with him after her little dad discovered the relationship. Tensions escalated dramatically, leading to a fatal encounter.
Sarah Britten, a specialist in the transmission and branding of the eyewitness attack, describes the horror scene as citizen. She talks about slowing down as she sees Ford Ranger running past the pedestrian. “These two sets of tires actually bounced him before he crossed Rivonia Road,” she said.
Britten shook clearly and said she got out of the car immediately, locked it in, and ran over. “I asked the bystanders if anyone called the police. My hands were shaking and I called my husband, who was also called Netcare 911.” At the time, Mahamba was still conscious and moving. She added: “I told him that an ambulance was coming. When the paramedics arrived, I helped him turn over. They tried CPR, but it was too late.”
Since then, videos of the brutal incidents have spread, sparking widespread anger and attracting attention to the dangers of violent confrontation arising from romantic disputes.
Police spokesman Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi confirmed that the murder case had been initiated. “No one has been arrested yet and all potential clients follow the suspects,” she said, urging the public to provide any information.
