Former “Boy Meets the World” actress Maitland Ward revealed that she is more capable and respected by P0RN stars than her career in TV.
“Honestly, I really think people respect me more now, especially in Hollywood,” Ward told Fox News in a recent interview.
Ward, 48, shared that Hollywood executives are “more accepting” her story when pushing their memoirs to the TV format.
She added: “They are so respectful and they are so positive about my story, especially the young and different people I talk to in Hollywood and stuff.”
Ward played Rachel McGuire’s name in 1998-2000’s Boy Meets World and appeared in the 1994-1996 soap opera Bold and Beauty before transitioning to adult entertainment in 2019.
Ward said in reflection on her career transformation that she was surprised by the overwhelmingly positive reaction she received.
“I’m really positive, and it shocked me that everyone I know, I’ll judge and judge in coal, but I think it’s so positive.
In her 2022 memoir “Rating X”, she describes her experience as an adult artist as a “soul-changing” experience.
“I have new confidence and a full-time job, not because I laughed at any higher verification, especially after being told that no one would pay to see my sexy.
Ward also praised her husband, Terry Baxter, for supporting her decision to enter the P0RN industry. “He saw a truth in me, I wouldn’t cross the boundary with men.
The couple has been married since 2006 and Ward continues to build her brand in the adult entertainment industry.
