The Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) in Nigeria said that Sukoto Sultan Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III has no plans to move to Islamic Nigeria.

Naija News The report said that NSCIA’s deputy national legal counsel Imam Haroun Muhammad Eze said in a statement Tuesday that social media works that attribute Islamic Nigeria to Sudan were naughty.

It said that Sudan has been in Nigeria for the past two weeks, which shows that the claim is unfounded.

“The attention of the NSCIA has drawn a piece of naughty information circulated in social media that is misattributed to Sukoto Sultan, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, a ridiculous statement about the popular Islamic Nigerian propaganda today.

“This false information is not only unfounded, but also malicious.

“The Muslim community led by Sudan in the grace of Almighty God is composed of Muslims of all races in Nigeria” It read.

Ez urges Nigerians to ignore trend statements on social media. He advises citizens to always verify their claims on social media before spreading.

“While the Council does not usually respect the perpetrators of this Dustad Act in response, as it believes that every person with the right thought will discount it, we also see the need to educate the public so that information will not harm the uncertainty of the ideas,”It added.
