One plane was forced to return to the plane for only two hours after a passenger lost his phone on the boat.
The plane flew from Paris to Pointe-a-pitre in the Caribbean island of Guadeloupe on Friday and was forced to transfer its 375 passengers and 12 crew back to France, about a quarter.
According to AirPlusNews, the plane turned around as a safety precaution.
Data from Flightradar24 show that the plane cycled once on the west coast of France and then flew back to the Orly Airport in Paris, where it started its journey.
After landing in Paris at 3.25 pm that day, the plane took off to Guadeloupe after 20 minutes and arrived at 7.20pm local time.
AirPlusnews reported that the same plane turned back for another month after passengers threw their phones into the ventilator, greatly increasing the risk of fire.
According to AirPlusnews, the plane, which was originally intended to fly from Paris to the fortress, was “a passenger’s phone slid through the kitchen vents and eventually entered an inaccessible area.”
It added: “Worried that the cell phone’s lithium battery had been damaged and caused a fire risk, the crew decided to transfer flights to Paris as a precaution.”
