The Delta State Government has ordered the Nursing College to withdraw the inquiry letter sent to a student who released a video of a controversial welcome song sung by her colleagues for Oluremi Tinubu.
This morning, Nigerians on social media launched a campaign to withdraw the letter after it surfaced online, and the school asked students to post such controversial videos on social media.
In a video posted online this morning, state health commissioner Jpseph Onojaeme said he had ordered school authorities to withdraw the letter. He also mentioned that he had spoken with the students involved, and she had confirmed that the letter had been withdrawn.
“The letter of doubt was sent to students in the Nursing College. I have instructed the Provost to withdraw this letter. We don’t want to harm any students. I have also contacted the students concerned and she confirmed to me that the letter was withdrawn last night. ”
