    • APC youths in Kogi State have donated £100 million to support President Tinubu’s re-election in 2027, saying it is an endorsement of his leadership and reforms.
    • The check was presented to the Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Ododo, during the APC youth support rally at Muhammadu Buhari Square in Lokoja on Sunday.

Youths of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State have donated £100 million to purchase the nomination form for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 re-election.

The check was presented to the Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Ododo, during the APC youth support rally at Muhammadu Buhari Square in Lokoja on Sunday.

Speaking at the event, Babangida Onyimisi, Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, said that the donation symbolized the youth’s support for President Tinubu’s re-election. According to him, the gesture reflects their confidence in Tinubu’s leadership and ongoing reforms.

APC National Youth Leader Dayo Israel also addressed the meeting, saying that the policies of President Tinubu and Governor Ododo have had a positive impact on youth across the country.

Likewise, Kogi APC Chairman, Abdullahi Bello, commended the initiative, describing it as a strong show of support and called for continuity of leadership at the state and national levels.

In his response, Governor Ododo thanked the youths for their support and assured them that he would personally hand over the check to President Tinubu. He described the 2027 election as a “choice between progress and rhetoric.”

The rally attracted hundreds of APC youths from the 21 local government areas of Kogi State.
