Chelsea defender Axel Disasi could be set to head to Stamford Bridge to join another Premier League club following the criticism he has received over the past few weeks.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news in an exclusive tweet from his official X account on Monday, January 27, 2025. According to him, the French defender has agreed personal terms with Aston Villa, but the move now depends on both parties.
He said,
“Axel Disasi has agreed personal terms with Aston Villa. Uniai Emery still wants to join Villa despite interest from European clubs in direct talks with him is crucial.”

Villa are looking to bring in Disasi as they search for a new centre-back after Tyrone Mings suffered an injury against West Ham on Sunday 26 January 2025 suffered serious injuries.
Chelsea have not been busy in this transfer window, having only completed two deals this season, the recall of Trevoh Chalobah from Crystal Palace and the loan move of Renato Veiga to Juventus.
