    Bbnaija's Rhuthee celebrates daughter's 16th birthday and emotional tribute graduation

    Reality TV star and former big brother Naija roommate Ruth Akpan (commonly known as Rhuthee) has appeared on social media to celebrate her daughter’s 16th birthday and high school graduation, both of which fall on the same day.

    The proud single mother shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, reflecting on her journey to raise her daughter alone and the immense pride she watches herself grow into a strong young woman.

    she wrote;

    “My child is 16 today and she is graduating from high school.
    I don’t even know where to start. I looked at you and I still saw the little girl who used to fall asleep on my chest… Now you walk on that stage, strong, smart, and become everything I pray for, and even more.

    Raising you as a single mom is not always easy, but you have given me more reasons to keep going than I do. Every sacrifice, every long night, every tears… are worth it. Watching you grow into a kind, smart and ferocious young woman is the greatest privilege of my life.

    Happy 16th birthday, my sunshine.

    You are about to graduate today, but baby, you’re just getting started.
    I raised you better, stronger, braver than I did, and I saw this happening before my eyes.
    Chase the world and never forget whose daughter you are.
    I love you deeply. There is always. Will always
    like,
    Mother. ”
