Beauty goddess apologizes after strong opposition to Priscilla and Juma

Nigeria-Ghana’s influencer beauty goddess, also known as John Merry, has made a wave of criticism in a recent video posted at Priscilla Ojo and Tanzanian singer Juma Jux’s highly anticipated wedding.

In a video circulated last Saturday, the beauty goddess explained that she had promised to attend another event before receiving the wedding invitation. She added that her flight had been booked and casually referred to the wedding as “JP”.

Her comments, especially “when you know the moment we follow ourselves, it doesn’t mean the moment we are friends,” fans and followers think she’s dismissed, especially given her close relationship with certain wedding guests.

The wedding in Lagos is one of the easiest celebrity events of the season, which only intensifies the reaction to the comments of the beautiful goddess.

In response to the backlash, Goddess Beauty made a heartfelt apology in her Instagram story on April 22. She admitted her mistake and said, “I said it was confusing, the way I had it. I wasn’t thinking about the sounds that sounded, and I absolutely didn’t mean it in a dark or unceremonious way.”

She continues to admit that she is still learning and growing, and promises to pay more attention in the future. Fans expressed different reactions to the apology, some accepted it, while others remained uneasy about her initial remarks.
