The Company Affairs Commission (CAC) has issued a six-week notice to register on the Commission as required by the Company and Allied Affairs Act (CAMA).

exist The commission said in a circular issued in Abuja on Tuesday that it would take necessary actions against perpetrators who failed to comply after the final production.

“This includes legal action against any company, limited liability partnership, limited partnership or unregistered business name or a different name than its registered identity.

It said: “Under CAMA Article 863, this is a criminal offence, conducting business in Nigeria, without proper registration, or using a name or acronym where the entity is legally registered.”

According to the statement, Section 729 of the Act provides that all registered entities display their registered names and numbers outside each business location.

It said this should also be displayed in all official publications, including letters, signage and marketing and promotional materials.

It also said that Section 862(1) of the Act imposes strict penalties on individuals who intend to make false statements in any document required by the Act.

It is a criminal offence for CAMA Article 863 to conduct business under Nigeria without proper registration or the use of a name or acronym other than the entity registered by law. ”
