

Chelsea has reportedly completed the signing of Dairo Essugo, Portugal International, to reach a long-term deal as he will join by the end of the season.
Transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news on his official X account on Saturday, March 15, 2025. According to the Italian language decision, the decision to sign Diaro Essugo was because the board was looking for someone who could be a backup of Moises Caicedo.

A fee of £18.5 million (US$23.9 million) was agreed for the 20-year-old, with no add-ons or terms of sale as part of the deal. It is reported that both sides have signed a seven-year contract with Essugo and will join Chelsea’s first team this summer.
