Controversy, alleged cover-ups and conflicting accounts continue following the reported shooting death of prominent Nigerian comedian and sketch producer Samuel Perry. Broda Shaggy.
It was earlier reported that the comedian was admitted to hospital after being shot in Sango Ota area of Ogun State.
Initial reports state that the incident occurred under the Sango-Ota flyover at around noon on Sunday, March 7, 2026.
While the exact circumstances of the shooting are unclear, reports suggest that the content creator suffered a gunshot wound while filming a comedy skit in Sango.
Broda Shaji was said to have been immediately rushed to a hospital in Lagos State where she received initial treatment.
