Talented singer-performer Qing Madi confirmed her departure from Jton Music after releasing her debut album.

The music sensation in Nigeria, born Chimamanda Pearl Chukwuma, has officially announced his departure from Jton Music, the record label has played a key role in starting his career.

The 18-year-old artist, known for her unique blend of Afrobeats, Pop, Soul and R&B, shared the news through a statement on her Instagram account, which marks the end of a major chapter in her music journey. Madi’s partnership with Jton Music played a part in her high school climb.

Under the guidance of the tag, she released her ep-title debut in November 2023, including BNXN’s hit track “Ole”, which has attracted a lot of attention and is impressive.

Her first studio album, I’m Blueprintreleased in January 2025, further cemented her position in the music industry and demonstrated her unique voice and artistic growth.

Although the specific reasons for her departure remain undisclosed, the clear decision to separate from Jton Music suggests a desire to explore new creative avenues and possibly seek greater autonomy in her artistic efforts.

This move coincides with her previous statements about wanting her music to resonate deeply with the audience and reflect her personal journey.

As Madi embarks on a new stage in her career, fans and industry observers will be keenly watching how she navigates her path.

She broke from Jton Music from the end of the times and also marked the beginning of new opportunities for growth and innovation in her music journey.
