Lagos High Court sitting in Ikeja has been adjourned until April 15, 2025, allegedly by Nigerian senior defense lawyer Femi Falana and his son Forarin esutdarkman (VDM).
Justice Matthias Dawodu adjourned the case in a very Wackerman situation after the court received a letter from the law firm of its legal representative Deji Adeyanju & Co.
In a letter dated February 18, 2025, and written by the attorney of the company Nafiu Alagbe, the attorney asked the court to postpone the case to a date in March or April, for the main defense attorney Marvin Omorogbe, Marvin Omorogbe, who is said to be unavailable due to a “domestic emergency.”
Although very absent from the court, Farana was present.
Falanas’s attorney Omotayo Olatunbosun told the court that the letter was just a “waste of time” for the defendant.
However, at the court’s prompt, the attorney raised an anti-devote, challenging the initial objection raised by Very Wackerman to the libel lawsuit.
After the development, Judge Daodu took the case to April 15, 2025 for a hearing.
Channels TV also learned that Falanas has filed a substantive lawsuit on the matter after complying with the application for pre-snatch remedies granted by Judge Dawodu, which has been allocated to the Fimisola Azeez Grand of the High Court of Lagos, Ikeja Judge.
Falans dragged VDM to a controversial recording of voice he released last year, which claimed he was Bobrisky’s claim to talk to Falz while in prison and gave N10M a senior advocate in Nigeria to help ensure the federal government ensures federal Government pardon. Bobrisky was sentenced to jail for Naira’s abuse after being sentenced to six months in April 2024.
In the audio released by VDM, the person who claimed to be Bobrisky claimed that his godfather helped him pay some money to secure an apartment outside the prison facility and serve his sentence.
