The court has ordered the arrest and remand of six salesmen from the CBEX Ponzi scheme.

Nigeria News Nalin It is reported that the federal high court sitting in Abuja, chaired by Judge Emeka Nwite, has ordered the arrest of six promoters on suspicion of fraudulent cryptocurrency investment scheme called CBEX.

The Nigerian news platform learned that the order was issued against a $1 billion fraud committed by Nigerian victims.

The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) filed a partisan motion against Adefowora Abiodun Olanipekun, Emmanuel Oku and four other defendants, and NEDN NEWITE approved the order on Thursday.

The commission claimed that the defendants used a company called ST Technologies to promote CBEX, through which Nigerians invested in CBEX.

The EFCC vowed to recover Nigerians lost investments in the so-called N1.3 trillion cryptocurrency exchange scam, which has a promising action in partnership with Interpol and other international agencies.

The anti-planting agency made this commitment while addressing public concerns about the huge losses in investment in Cryptobank Exchange, a digital investment platform currently under investigation that is currently under investigation estimated to be N1.3 trillion n130 million.
