    • Afrobeats artist Dammy Krane released a new single titled “Champion’s Arrival (Hahaha)” on November 11th.
    • The album’s release coincides with the debut of Wizkid’s son Boluwatife (Champz), who released his five-track EP, also titled “Champion’s Arrival”.
    • The timing of both releases sparked discussion and mixed reactions from fans online.

Afrobeat star and songwriter Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel, popularly known as Dammy Krane, has got the internet buzzing with his latest single, “The Champions Are Coming (Hahaha)”.

The song was released on Tuesday, November 11, the same day Wizkid’s 14-year-old son Boluwatife (aka Champz) dropped his debut five-song EP titled “Champion’s Arrival” to mixed reactions from fans.

Many music lovers have accused Dammy Krane of copying the young artist’s projects due to their strikingly similar titles and release dates.

Controversy arose soon after Boluwatife’s EP became a huge success, surpassing Apple Music Nigeria and surpassing 1 million Spotify streams in just 24 hours after its release.

Omoh e sha it’s not easy to live that life, he probably has about 1000 songs recorded and saved in his archives and then picks them out one by one and renames them.”

@bigprofcnd15205: “Little Tiff, you are suitable to be born in him, do you want to shine with him? Very embarrassing.”
