A new video from a Lagos nightclub has set the internet abuzz after Davido was caught visibly reacting to an unexpected change in the DJ’s playlist.
The video captured the DMW leader enjoying a lively night out while dancing to rapper Odumodublvck’s hit song “Grooving” featuring Davido and Seun Kuti.
Davido was visibly in high spirits, dancing powerfully and filling the venue with his own pop lyrics.
However, the mood changed when the DJ decided to show off some mixing skills. In a smooth but surprising transition, the track suddenly switches to Wizkid’s latest single “Jogodo” featuring Asake.
As soon as the new song started playing, Davido’s mood changed significantly. From dancing freely, he froze, giving what fans quickly dubbed an “exaggerated side eye” as he silently stared ahead.
Given the long-standing rivalry between Wizkid and Davido’s fanbases, any video linking the two, even indirectly, tends to spark online discussion.
