    EFCC arrests nine people for internet fraud exist Abuja

    The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested nine individuals suspected of engaging in cyber fraud. The suspects were arrested on Monday in Wuye area of ​​Abuja during an intelligence-led operation by the EFCC Abuja Regional Administration.

    According to a statement issued by the EFCC, the suspects were detained following credible intelligence linking them to cyber-related fraud. During the operation, a number of items were seized from the suspect, including 19 mobile phones, a car, four laptops and an iPad.

    The action by the EFCC Abuja Regional Authority underscores its commitment to combating cyber fraud and other financial crimes in Nigeria. The agency’s efforts aim to bring the perpetrators of these crimes to justice and restore confidence in the country’s financial system.
