FG has extended the deadline for civil servant recruitment application, 2025.

Nigeria News Nalin The report said the federal government has extended the deadline for recruitment applications to March 17, 2025.

The Federal Civil Service Commission FCSC initially launched a recruitment campaign on January 27, opening more than 70 positions across various departments, departments and agencies of the MDA. However, many applicants reported difficulties in accessing the recruitment portal, leading to widespread calls for expansion.

FCSC spokesman Hassan Taiwan, in response to these questions, acknowledged that some applicants face technical challenges, but many others were able to successfully complete the registration.

The committee confirmed the extension in two national newspapers published on Monday, and shared by Taiwan on Monday, noting that the new deadline replaces the earlier deadline of March 10, 2025.

It wrote: “The Federal Civil Service Commission has extended the deadline for receiving applications for various vacancies for federal civil service until March 17, 2025 to allow more qualified candidates to participate in the sport.”

The notice replaced the earlier announcement published on January 27 in newspapers and the official FCSC website (www.fedcivilservice.gov.ng), which initially sets an application deadline for March 10, 2025.

“Updated information is now available on the FCSC website as well as on the Sunshine and National Newspapers on Monday, March 10, 2025, including the Daily Trust on Tuesday, March 11, 2025.

“Qualified Nigerians are urged to take advantage of this extension and apply for available vacancies.

It concluded: “The committee ensures a performance-driven and transparent recruitment process to applicants.”
