Family sources confirmed that the kidnappers have demanded the release of 300 million N30 million blackmail. A close-up source said friends and family have started donating to ensure their freedom.

Although we welcome all law-abiding Nigerians who want to live and conduct legal business here, we will not tolerate individuals who use our forests as hiding places for illegal activities such as kidnapping and other crimes,” he said.

The governor urges traditional rulers, community leaders and rural leaders to stay alert and work with security agencies.

“Whenever you notice any suspicious movement, you will immediately remind the security agent. If you see anything, say something. Safety is everyone’s collective responsibility,” he added.
