Famous Nigerian media figure Frank Edoho measures the ongoing contract dispute between gospel singer Mercy Chinwo and her former record label owner Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu, commonly known as Eezee Tee.
In a video of a contract dispute settlement on Instagram on Thursday, March 20, 2025, Frank Edoho urged Nigerians to focus on verified facts rather than emotions, revealing two separate audits confirming that Eezee Tee owes mercy money.
According to Edoho, the first audit was conducted under the 2023 mediators Anslem Madubuko, Mercy Chinwo, her husbands Borseed and Eezee Tee. The findings reportedly show that Eezee Tee owes Mercy Chinwo, which leads to an installment debt agreement. However, the audit company withdraws from the case due to delays and non-compliance by Eezee Tee.
The EFCC later conducted a second review, which also revealed financial differences in Eezee Tee’s records, further confirming that he owed the gospel singer.
Edoho stressed that there was no coercion or violence in the process, refuting Mercy Chinwo’s speculation that he avoided auditing. He also quoted another gospel artist, JudikayThey reportedly conducted their own review and found the label of Eezee Tee, finding similar financial differences.
Media personality calls on the public to avoid speculation and stick to the facts, noting that Nigerians often cast their emotions. “No Nigerians think that Nigerians prefer narratives over facts, and I find that this is correct. In this case, let’s focus on verified information rather than feeling,” He said.
Edoho’s remarks sparked online reactions, with some social media users expressing suspicion, while others seeking further clarification on the dispute over Mercy Chinwo’s contract with Eezee Tee.
