Nobel Prize winner Professor Wole Soyinka expressed grief over the current situation in the United States under President Donald Trump.

As you can remember, Soyinka said in 2016 that if Trump is elected, he will give up his green card.

In a recent interview, Soyinka described the current situation as one of the most pathetic phenomena he knew.

Naija News Soyinka reportedly made the statement in an interview with Laura Collins-Hughes, a freelance art journalist who appeared in the New York Times.

Collins-Hughes reported in an article titled “Wole Soyinka, 90, revisits his younger, more optimistic self” that Nobel Prize winners are troubled by recent developments in the United States.

“I just feel very, very sad because what is happening in the United States that should happen in such a potentially progressive country,” said the author who is not a propaganda world.

When the current political climate (including the UK, Germany and Canada) is in the current political climate, whether he felt safe in the United States, they warned their citizens to travel to the United States. “Oh, I’ve been in a non-safe state.”

“So I’m used to it. If I walk through the streets and they pick me up, I’m fine. He said with a smile.

Since his return to the political arena, Trump has embarked on a strong campaign against irregular immigration in the United States, while imposing tariff increases in various trading partners, including Nigeria, where he set 14% tariffs on Nigeria’s exports to the United States.

The United States justifies this 14% tariff on Nigerian goods by pointing out that Nigeria bans 25 U.S. products.

During an interaction with the interview in 2016, Soyinka expressed dissatisfaction with Trump’s presidency, which shows that this poses a major challenge to humanity.

He further announced his intention to give up his green card on January 20, 2017, and Trump was originally scheduled to take office as the 45th president of the United States.

When asked if he still intends to hit the clock, he said “Come on January 20, 2017; look at my Volksit!”
