    • The family of musician Innocent “2Baba” Idibia has formally requested the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to investigate serious allegations against Miss Natasha Irobosa Osawaru.
    • The petition, dated November 12, 2025, accuses 2Baba of physical assault in the United Kingdom and Abuja.
    • Crucially, the family is demanding an investigation into Ozawa’s substance abuse, accusing her of giving 2Baba a variety of drugs that caused him emotional distress and financial loss.
    • Other claims include alleged unauthorized access and transfer of funds from 2Baba’s accounts, as well as the seizure of his passport, which prevented him from participating in professional activities.

The family of music icon Innocent Idibia, known as 2Baba, has formally submitted a petition to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) over the alleged disturbing incident involving Miss Natasha Irobosa Osawaru, her son and brother.

The petition, dated November 12, 2025, requests the Nigeria Police Force to intervene to investigate a series of allegations.

The Idibia family has serious claims against Natasha Osawaru, including:

Alleged physical assault: The petition alleges that Miss Natasha Irobosa Osawaru committed physical assault on Mr. Innocent Idibia (2Baba) in the United Kingdom and Abuja.

Drug charges: The family has asked the Inspector General of Police to investigate Miss Natasha Osawaru for allegedly supplying their son Innocent with various drugs. This was listed in the official petition as “substance abuse by Miss Natasha Irobosa Osawaru, which allegedly resulted in violent behavior, causing emotional distress and financial loss to Mr Innocent Ujah Idibia, professionally known as 2Baba”.

Financial Misappropriation: The family accused Miss Natasha Irobosa Osawaru of unauthorized access and transfer of funds from the phone and bank account of Mr Innocent Ujah Idibia.

Withheld documents: The petition states that personal property and travel documents, including his passport, were seized, preventing him from attending business events and performances.

The documents state that the incidents caused “severe emotional distress, financial hardship and public embarrassment” to Mr Innocent Ujah Idibia, and warn that his personal safety and mental health appear to be at risk.
